The History of Post in Iran  From Chaparkhaneh to Smart Logistics

Iran is the cradle of the world’s first postal system. More than 2,500 years ago, Darius the Great founded the "Chapar" system—an organized network of swift riders and horses designed to deliver messages between the capital and the farthest reaches of the empire in record time. The famous inscription of Darius remains an eternal testament to this commitment:

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."
